FAQs
We have an extensive network of HR consultants across the United States, including all metropolitan areas and most local markets. Many of our consultants live near airports intentionally so that they can travel easily.
It can take anywhere from a couple of days to a couple of weeks, depending on the skillset, location, and start time.
The more you can share with us about your budget upfront, the better. The consultants in our network command a premium because of the caliber of their work, typically ranging from $125-250/hour (though we often price projects on a daily or monthly rate). Just like with full-time, the independent consultant weighs the opportunity, proximity, and match with their skills as they determine a fair rate.
For OnPoint HR fees, we believe in transparency. GigHR charges an agreed percentage on top of the consultant’s rate. Travel and expenses are billed directly. GigHR always looks locally first to try to keep expenses down.
Part of the value GigHR provides is taking care of the paperwork and making it easy. We contract with the client and consultant to generally include a master services agreement with key terms and a statement of work with deliverables and milestones outlined.
It can go either way. Some clients prefer that we facilitate payroll, and others take it on themselves. If you have a preference, let us know.
